After studying at the trend setting Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and the Nova Scotia Community College-Halifax Campus, Stephen graduated in 1998 with diplomas in both Photography and Digital Imaging.

Since then Stephen has been working with a leading Canadian newspaper in pre-press production and digital imaging. Major clients like the QEII Foundation recognized his ability to meet their wide range of needs from major events to intimate functions and his featured work in the Chronicle Herald and Vintage guitar calendars is also a testament to his talents. Even with the demand of an expanding list of private clients, Stephen is still able to find the time to hit the trail with bike and camera to pursue his passion.

With education and experience in both digital imaging/editing and traditional photography, Stephen creates art. Using all the tools of his trade, including his unique eye for lighting and colour, still life's dance and incredible action shots are frozen in time. For Stephen, photography is a lifestyle, it's the lifetime of experience gained in the quest to create the perfect photograph from any given moment
